Fentanyl Deaths Spike in Northern California

Six people have now died in Sacramento, California after ingesting street-bought fentanyl painkillers that are knock-offs of “Norco” pills. These “Norco” pills, a prescription painkiller made of hydrocodone and acetaminophen, laced with fentanyl, are reportedly 80 times more potent than morphine and a hundred times more potent than heroin. A public health warning has been issued over the consumption of the “Norco” knock-offs that are actually fentanyl pills made to look like Norco tablets.
